Ginger Molasses Mustard Spiced Cookies
3⁄4 cup Butter
1 large Egg
1 cup Light Brown Sugar, packed
1⁄4 cup Molasses
2 1⁄4 cups Flour
2 teaspoons Baking Soda
2 teaspoons Ground Ginger
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1⁄2 teaspoon Cardamom
1⁄2 teaspoon Kozlik's Brown Mustard Powder
1⁄2 teaspoon White Pepper
1⁄4 teaspoon Salt
1⁄4 teaspoon Ground Cloves
In bowl, cream butter and brown sugar. Beat in molasses and egg.
In separate bowl combine flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, pepper, mustard, cardamom, salt and cloves.
Gradually add to creamed mixture.
Cover and refrigerate about 1 hour or until easy to handle.
Roll into 1-inch balls and then roll in additional sugar.
Bake at 375°F till surface cracks or about 10-12 minutes.
Cool on wire rack completely.
